This unique Iris Wall Sculpture is made out of a strong smooth porcelain. The design is inspired by the irises that grow wildly in my front yard and multiply each year.
I meticulously hand carved the delicate porcelain and smoothed the edges. After it was carefully loaded into the kiln and fired, I brushed this dynamic blue-green glaze and fired it again to ensure maximum strength. Watch as the colors and shadows change through the day with the shifting light!
